Hurricane Matthew, critical elections prompt emergency high-level meeting

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (sentinel.ht) – An emergency high-level meeting that was presided by the President of the Republic, State actors, the Electoral Council president and the head of the United Nations mission in Haiti was held Saturday to discuss contingency plans with regard to the cat 4, Hurricane Matthew, and the affect it may have on general elections scheduled for October 9, 2016.
