CROIX DES BOUQUETS – Le commissaire du gouvernement près le tribunal civil de Port-au-Prince, Danton Léger, a demandé au parquet de Croix-des-Bouquets de mettre à sa disposition l’ancien président Jean-Bertrand Aristide. Une demande à laquelle le commissaire du gouvernement de Croix-des-Bouquets, Mario Beauvoir, a refusé de donner suite. Le chef du parquet de Port-au-Prince entendait interroger l’ex-chef de l’État sur ses récentes déclarations. Une démarche jugée inopportune par la commission Justice et Sécurité du Parlement qui a écrit au ministre de la Justice et de la Sécurité publique à ce sujet.

FLASH elections: Quick replacement of cards CIN lost

 In a note, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) invites the electors of Great South (South, Nippes and Grand'Anse) who lost their National Identification Card (CIN) during the passage of Hurricane Matthew to appear from Thursday 3rd to Tuesday, November 8, from 8:00 am to 4:00 of afternoon, to Departmental electoral Offices (BED) and Communal (BEC) to declare the loss of their CIN.

The information collected will be forwarded to the National Identification Office (ONI) on 9 November, at the latest, for administrative suites. This activity is part of an inclusive process to enable voters victims of Matthew to recover their CIN card before the election of 20 November.
